Our Mission

Our mission at Granite Performance is to provide an accessible, off-season training program for young ski racers looking to improve their physical fitness and mental preparedness. We strive to achieve our mission by focusing on a "well-rounded" training approach, addressing the physical, mental, and nutritional aspects of performance with the goal of developing successful life-long athletes.

 

Each 10-Week Session Includes

 

6 Group Workouts

Bi-weekly group workouts with a team mentality to provide motivation and have fun! Sessions are designed to improve physical performance with ski racing specific workouts. One of these sessions will include a full USSA SkillsQuest Fitness Assessment.

10 Weeks of Training Plans

Age and ability appropriate at-home workout plans for our athletes each week of the session. These plans are heavily focused on injury prevention-based exercises, long term strength gain, and movement training. Also included are weekly exercises in sport psychology, nutrition, or ski racing technique.

5 Individual Coaching Sessions

Biweekly check-ins with a coach allow an opportunity to customize training plans for each of our athletes. In these sessions athletes will also have an opportunity to work with a coach on individual mental training techniques, goal setting exercises and on and off snow personal assessments.
